School was started in 1985 by Nellai-Thoothukudi Nadar Mahamai Paripalana Sangam with a view of bringing out the inner potentialities of the children. This institution enriches their knowledge, ennobles their mind and ensures their progress in life. This Co-educational institution was affiliated to the Tamilnadu State Matriculation Board in the year 1986. The first set of Matriculates came out in April 1991 with excellent results.The school was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School in 1991-92 and secured centum results that year.
