About the School

GK Shetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College, Ambattur, the eighth unit in the link of Vivekananda Educational Society, was started in June 1979. Sri GK Shetty, our main donor was impressed with VES that he had contributed fabulous amount for the construction of the school and the development of the same. With the continued support from the parents, public and philanthropists and the dedicated team work of the staff, the school has now flourished with a total strength of 3214 students and 125 teachers.
